research interests
My current research is dedicated to the intersection of machine learning and quantum many-body physics, in particular neural network quantum states with a focus on time evolution. I'm not only interested in applying such machine learning methods to specific problems, but I would like to gain a more fundamental understanding of how and why they (don't) work in certain settings. I also have some background in quantum field theory, algebraic topology and probability theory, and I'm always happy whenever these topics pop up during during my research.
