and what I do outside of research
I like to shoot 35mm film - mainly black and white - for which I currently use a Yashica FX-3 Super 2000. Below you can see some pictures that I think turned out quite well.
Occasionally I turn knobs in some Ableton plug-in (of which I have purchased way too many as part of a black friday deal and used way too little). So far, however, I never managed to complete a single track because I always loose myself in a sound-design side quest.
I also spend a decent amount of time playing video or card games. For me it is a lot of fun having to adapt to vastly different scenarios quickly, and (online) games are great way to stay in touch with (distant) friends. I'm always interested in hearing about your favourite game!
Otherwise I'm usually on the lookout for good food and coffee (and neighborhood cats to give them pets).
